Reconnect
With yourself. With the Earth. With all that you are.
Step into a deeply held space where the sacred mushroom becomes a gateway to remember.

My Approach

Ancestral
We walk in the footsteps of those who came before, humbly guided by the wisdom of ancestral ways. Our ceremonies are rooted in animistic traditions that honor the spirit in all things: stone, stream, fire, song. Through respectful integration of ancient healing practices, we create sacred spaces where transformation can unfold in deep connection with lineage, land, and the unseen.
Ceremony is a sacred container. It holds us as we journey inward into the rawness of our grief, the pulse of our joy, the quiet whisper of longing. It returns us to belonging, to community, to nature, to the inner truth we may have forgotten. It is a weaving of prayer, intention, song, and elemental communion where the visible and invisible meet.

Embodied
We invite the body to lead the way. Through a blend of somatic and spirit-led practices, we guide you to reconnect with your physical sensations, emotions, and inner landscapes. The body holds memory, wisdom, and truth. By listening deeply, we access pathways to healing, insight, and self-awareness that words alone cannot reach.
Rather than bypassing the body to reach spiritual insight, we anchor the journey through it. Emotions, tensions, and patterns held in the tissues begin to speak, release, and integrate. In this space, old stories can soften, and a deeper presence can emerge. We listen with compassion to what arises without rushing, without fixing. This is a practice of remembering how to feel, how to trust, and how to come home to yourself.

Earth-Based
Our work is rooted in deep interconnection, a living philosophy that reminds us we are not separate from nature but expressions of it. We foster intimate relationship with the natural world, both around us and within us, remembering that healing the self and healing the Earth are one and the same.
We honor psilocybin as a teacher that opens us to this truth. It can reawaken our sense of connection, inspire regenerative ways of living, and call us back to balance, care, and purpose in a world that has forgotten its roots.

Sound-Infused
Each ceremony is a rich, living experience shaped by a thoughtful blend of live music and curated sound. Some moments are guided by spontaneous, intuitive soundscapes played in the room, while others draw from hand-selected tracks chosen for their emotional depth and resonance.
The music is intentional and alive in its own way, designed to meet you where you are in the journey. Whether offered in real time or woven in advance, each sound supports your inner process, deepening your connection to self, spirit, and the present moment.

Holistic
From the moment you arrive to well after the retreat has ended, we provide you with the tools, resources, and a supportive community to foster lasting growth and healing. Integration is at the heart of our work, connecting the wisdom gained during the retreat to your everyday life.
We help you embody the transformations experienced in ceremony, making them real and relevant to your journey ahead. Integration is not just about understanding insights, but about living them, empowering you to move forward with clarity, resilience, and the resources to navigate the complexities of life.

Your Facilitator
As a plant medicine guide, herbalist, dancer and spaceholder, Dave Achula weaves earth-based healing, movement, ritual and sound into transformative spaces of connection and remembrance. His work is rooted in over a decade of direct relationship with plant teachers, both in personal practice and ceremonial facilitation.
Trained in trauma-informed plant medicine facilitation with Atira Tan, Dave holds space with deep reverence for the intelligence of the body, the land, and the unseen. His background in herbalism and plant communication brings a listening quality to his guidance, one that honours the subtle language of the natural world.
Dave’s path has been shaped by mentorship and learning with indigenous wisdom keepers in South Africa, including the Khoi and Sangoma lineages, alongside a deep respect for the shamanic traditions of the Amazon and Andes. His work draws from these diverse threads with humility and care, honouring both lineage and place.
As a lifelong dancer and passionate lover of music, Dave brings somatic sensitivity and sound into every space he holds. He is currently walking the path of creating and sharing music as medicine, guiding others through sound into deeper states of presence, feeling, and connection with the sacred.

10 Sacred Agreements of Ceremony
-
We Walk in Reverence for Mother Earth
She is our first teacher and ultimate guide. We honor the living land beneath our feet, the waters that flow, the skies above, and all our relations in the web of life. The ceremony is a return to this sacred kinship with plants, animals, and the wild soul within.
-
We Enter as Present Beings
Each step into the ceremony is intentional. We arrive physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Fully here, fully human, fully open.
-
We Treat the Space as Sacred
This is not casual. This is ceremony. The medicine, the elements, the circle, the silence, all are holy. We move with care and treat each being and moment with deep respect.
-
We Lead Without Ego
No one stands above another. We serve the medicine, not ourselves. We offer our presence from humility, not hierarchy.
-
We Cultivate Stillness Within
We breathe. We ground. We do not impose. We become a calm anchor for others to journey safely.
-
We Listen With All That We Are
Words are only one language. We listen with our hearts, our bodies, our spirits. To silence, emotion, energy, and the voice of the Earth herself.
-
We Respect Boundaries, Always
Consent is sacred. We ask before touching, guiding, or intervening. We trust each soul’s sovereignty and honor their sacred process.
-
We Remain Clear Channels
We commit to our own healing so we do not project our wounds into the space. We arrive clean, grounded, and in service to truth.
-
We Trust the Medicine’s Wisdom
The fungi know. The Earth knows. The person knows. We hold space without trying to fix, interfere, or direct what does not belong to us.
-
We Walk With Compassion and Integrity
Not pity. Not performance. Just presence. We hold each other through darkness and light with dignity, confidentiality, and care. We support integration as a lifelong path of remembering who we truly are.
